A Discrete Time Equivalent Martingale Measure
An equivalent martingale measure selection strategy for discrete time, continuous state, asset price evolution models is proposed. The minimal martingale law is shown to generally fail to produce a probability law in this context. The proposed strategy, termed the Girsanov principle, performs a multiplicative decomposition of asset price movements into a predictable and martingale component wit...
متن کاملRisk measurement and Implied volatility under Minimal Entropy Martingale Measure for Levy process
This paper focuses on two main issues that are based on two important concepts: exponential Levy process and minimal entropy martingale measure. First, we intend to obtain risk measurement such as value-at-risk (VaR) and conditional value-at-risk (CvaR) using Monte-Carlo methodunder minimal entropy martingale measure (MEMM) for exponential Levy process. This Martingale measure is used for the...
متن کاملOn the Banach Algebra
We give some properties of the Banach algebra of bounded operators (lp(α)) for 1≤ p≤∞, where lp(α)= (1/α)−1∗lp . Then we deal with the continued fractions and give some properties of the operator ∆h for h > 0 or integer greater than or equal to one mapping lp(α) into itself for p ≥ 1 real. These results extend, among other things, those concerning the Banach algebra Sα and some results on the c...
متن کاملIn discrete time a local martingale is a martingale under an equivalent probability measure
1 Result and Discussion We consider a discrete-time infinite horizon model with an adapted d-dimensional process S = (S t) given on a stochastic basis (Ω, F, F = (F t) t=0,1,... , P). The notations used: M(P), M loc (P) and P are the sets of d-dimensional martingales, local martingales and predictable (i.e. (F t−1)-adapted) processes; H · S t = j≤t H j ∆S j. To our knowledge, this result was ne...
متن کاملThe associated measure on locally compact cocommutative KPC-hypergroups
We study harmonic analysis on cocommutative KPC-hyper-groups, which is a generalization of DJS-hypergroups, introduced by Kalyuzhnyi, Podkolzin and Chapovsky. We prove that there is a relationship between the associated measures $mu$ and $gamma mu$, where $mu$ is a Radon measure on KPC-hypergroup $Q$ and $gamma$ is a character on $Q$.
